Configure the SMDR output

Below you will find instructions on how to configure your Panasonic KX-TA/E to output SMDR to TIM Plus. You will need to do this from the Panasonic KX-T7130 phone:

1. On the back of the phone set it to Program.
2. Press - * and then # key and enter your system password.
3. Press # #. You are now in Programming mode.

4. Go to programming code 800, and set each of the settings as below. After you have set each one press Store and then Next to move to the next setting:

   SMDR field	Value
   NL-Code	CR+LF
   Baud Rate	9600
   Word Length	8 bits
   Parity	None
   Stop Bit	1 bit

5. Go to programming code 801, and set each of the settings as below. After you have set each one press Store and then Next to move to the next setting:

   SMDR field	Value
   Page Length	Leave as default
   Skip Perf	Leave as default

6. Go to programming code 802, and set each of the settings as below. After you have set each one press Store and then Next to move to the next setting:

   SMDR field	Value
   Outgoing	On
   Incoming	On

7. On the back of the phone set it back to Store.

Installing NetPBX

The Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the data from the serial port and send it to TIM Plus, you will first need to install the NetPBX software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Configuring TIM Plus

Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on to TIM Plus as usual and apply the following settings:

1. Click on the Directory tab.
2. Select the site configured during the setup wizard and clickProperties.

3. Within the Site Properties window, select Panasonic KX Family from the PBX model drop-down list.
4. In the Connection method field select No connection required from the drop-down list.
5. Click on the Save button to apply the settings
