Configure the SMDR output

Below you will find instructions on how Follow the steps below to configure your Panasonic KX-TA/E to output SMDR data to TIM Plus. You will need to do this  The configuration needs to be performed from the Panasonic KX-T7130 phone:

  1. On From the back of the phone, set it this to Program.
  2. Press - * and then followed by the # key and , then enter your system password.
  3. Press # #. You are now in to enter the

  4. Go to programming code 800, and set each of the settings as shown below. After you have set each one press Press  Store and then Next after each entry, in order to move to the next setting:

    NL-CodeCR+LF
    Baud Rate9600
    Word Length8 bits
    ParityNone
    Stop Bit1 bit
  5. Go to programming code 801, and set each of the settings as shown below. After you have set each one press Press Store and then Next after each entry, in order to move to the next setting:

    SMDR fieldValue
    Page LengthLeave as default
    Skip PerfLeave as default
  6. Go to programming code 802, and set each of the settings as below. After you have set each one press Press Store and then Next after each entry, in order to move to the next setting:

    SMDR fieldValue
    OutgoingOn
    IncomingOn
  7. On From the back of the phone set it this back to Store.

The Panasonic KX-TA/E phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the call logging data from the serial port and send it to TIM Plus, you will first need to install the NetPBX software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on in to TIM Plus as usual and apply perform the following settingssteps below:

  1. Click on the Directory tab.
  2. Select Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and clickProperties.

  3. Within In the Site Properties window, select Panasonic KX Family from the PBX model drop-down list.
  4. In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
  5. Click on the Save button to apply the settings
