to work with TIM EnterprisePlus. If you are not familiar with PBX

The Alcatel 4400e sends SMDR information via a serial connection. The most recents units will have a .v24 port, older units will require you to purchase a .v24 module. You will need to directly connect
a serial cable from the Alcatel 4400e .v24 module to the PC that NetPBX is installed and running on.

<h2>Configuring your SMDR</h2>
<p>The Alcatel 4400e will need to be configured to output SMDR information.</p>

<h2>Configuring TIM Enterprise<Plus</h2>
<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM EnterprisePlus to listen for SMDR data from your Alcatel 4400e:</p>
<ol>
<li>Browse to TIM EnterprisePlus as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
<li>Click on the <span class="button no_margin">Directory</span> tab.</li>
<li>Go<li>Click theon the pointsite inconfigured the Directory where you need to add during the PBXsetup Objectwizard and add a PBX with the name 'Alcatel 4400e'.</li>
<li>Left-click on it and select <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>.</li>
<li>From the span>or create a new site and click <span class="button no_margin">General<>Properties</span> settings tab select <span class="keyword">Alcatel 4400e</span> from the PBX model list.</li>

<li>In<li>Within the <span class="button no_margin">Connection<reference">Site Properties</span> tabwindow, select <span class="keyword">No>Alcatel connection required<4400e</span> from the <span class="reference">PBX model</span> drop-down list.</li>
<li>From the <span class="reference">Connection method</span> drop-down list, select <span class="keyword">No connection required</span>.</li>
<li>Finally, click on the <span class="button no_margin">Save</span> button.</li>
